This morning we made loan available for two beneficiaries, Samrawit and Ato Desalegne.
Samrawit had graduated in "Archeology and Heritage Management" from the University of Axum in July 2015. The following year, she hunted a job but no one asked her for interview. In February 2017, Samrawit got a piece of land, around the new bus station, from the government for doing business.
Soon, she joined TESFA Le_Wogen/TESFA France microfinance project and start saving. With in a few months, Samrawit becomes famous between her SHG members and got a job in the project as a facilitator over five more groups.
Since then, Samrawit saved over 8000 birr. This past week, the local government (the Kebele) offered Samrawit another piece of land for building her own mud-wall house.
For building this little mud house and for doing the snack business, we provided a loan of 25,000 birr to be reimbursed in a year.

Ato Desalegne, the only old man in the women SHG, received a loan of 2000 birr for buying sheep. Slaughtering lamb in Easter is a religious culture in Ethiopia. The Ethiopian Easter is this coming weekend.

Samrawit est diplômé en "Archéologie et gestion du patrimoine" de l'Université d'Axum depuis juillet 2015. L'année suivante, elle a recherché un emploi, mais personne ne lui a proposé d'entrevue.
En février 2017, Samrawit a obtenu un terrain, autour de la nouvelle gare routière, du gouvernement pour faire des affaires. Très vite, elle a rejoint le projet de microfinance TESFA Le_Wogen/TESFA France et elle a commencé à épargner.
En quelques mois, Samrawit devient leader parmi les membres de son SHG et elle a obtenu un emploi dans le projet en tant qu'animatrice de plus de cinq autres groupes. Depuis, Samrawit a récolté plus de 8000 birr.
La semaine dernière, le gouvernement local (les Kébélé) a offert à Samrawit un autre terrain pour la construction de sa propre maison à murs de terre. Pour la construction de cette petite maison en terre et pour le commerce de collations, nous lui avons accordé un prêt de 25 000 birr à rembourser en un an.
Ato Desalegne, le seul vieil homme de la SHG femmes, a reçu un prêt de 2000 birr pour l'achat de moutons. L'abattage de l'agneau à Pâques est une culture religieuse en Ethiopie. La Pâque éthiopienne est le week-end prochain.
