This morning we gave loan for a lady named "Mastewal Gared" from the SHG women named "Yesetoch Lewut".
This is our first loan given after our Easter. Mastewal 35, is married and have two children. Her husband is very poor and the burden of the family is on the shoulders of the mother.
Mastewal works for the municipality of Gondar as a street janitor and earns 1,400 birr (€43) per month. This €43/month is the only income for the family.
Mastewal have been enrolled into SHG since February 2017 and managed to save 1033 birr (€32) up to now.
The amount of salary she is making is too small for the family and this mother comes with an idea of egg selling business.
She wants to buy eggs from local farmers and sell them for the urban people.
So, we gave her a loan of 3000 birr (€93) to reimbursed in a year.

C'est notre premier prêt accordé après Pâques. Mastewal 35 ans, est marié et mère de deux enfants. Son mari est très pauvre et tout le poids de la famille repose sur ses les épaules.
